The FXP is a specialized Permanent Lifting Magnet built for applications where thin sheet, light-gauge steel, tanks, containers, or thin-walled pipe cannot be lifted safely with standard on/off magnetic lifters. Its magnetic field stays shallow and focused, giving it the ability to grip thinner material securely without excessive pull-through. If you’re looking to review more magnetic lifting options, you can browse our full range in the Lifting Magnets collection.
These lifting magnets in the FX series is engineered with operator safety and ease of use in mind. The FXP requires only a 90° handle rotation to engage or disengage the magnet—much easier than the 120° or 180° movement needed on many other on/off magnets—making it ideal for lifting from inside bins, racks, or deep troughs. The positive lock-on/lock-off mechanism prevents partial engagement and reduces the risk of accidental release. Like all of our magnetic lifters, each FXP permanent lifting magnet comes with full documentation and certification, making it a trusted choice for fabrication shops, manufacturing plants, and industrial facilities that rely on consistent performance when working with thinner materials.
