MAG-MATE® Automatic Lifting Magnet

The MAG-MATE Automatic Lifting Magnet is a permanent lifting magnet designed for handling steel plates, sheets, and flat ferrous materials without slings or hooks. The magnet activates automatically when placed onto the load and releases when the load is set down, allowing controlled lifting without manual switching during each cycle. Fabrication shops, machine shops, and manufacturing facilities commonly use an automatic lifting magnet for steel plate lifting and transferring materials between storage areas, cutting tables, and processing equipment. This lifting magnet uses a load sensing mechanism that engages the magnetic field when the unit contacts the material and disengages when the load is lowered onto a stable surface. Because the unit is a permanent magnet, electrical power is only required to toggle the magnet on or off, not to hold the load during lifting. Typical applications include metal fabrication, machining operations, warehouses, and maintenance environments where steel components must be positioned accurately and repeatedly.
